I recently had a chance to ask Mike how the Homeowner Affordability and Stability Plan will impact Simpac's loan modification program and this is what he had to say:

"I think it’s great news for us because it brings loan mods to the forefront and lenders MUST deal with borrowers now, although I do question their capacity to do so. Our program puts together the package that a borrower needs to go for it on their own or hire an attorney. If they just go at it blindly, the lenders will take advantage of them as they are looking out for their shareholders. Our package starts them in the right direction from the get-go, and I still believe the attorney route is best because most people out there just don’t know what they are doing and they’ll end up with a better rate and term with the attorney that will provide them with increased savings over the long term even though it’s going to cost them money up front. For $395 they take advantage of my company’s mortgage expertise – I’m not sure of any other product out there on the market like ours."

I recently had the pleasure of reconnecting with an old friend who is the Broker/President of Simpac Financial. His company offers a terrific loan modification program with several options for their clients. They have certainly found a way to help homeowners who are facing foreclosure by starting with the foremost issue: the loan. If your desire is to stay in your home, give Mike a call today to see if Simpac Docs can help you do just that.
